DATIM Release 1.27.f was deployed on February 26, 2019.
DATIM 1.27.f includes an update to DHIS2.29 to improve performance, as well as the addition of new regions and countries to the DATIM organizational hierarchy.
- DHIS2.29 has been updated to revision c6aede7
This upgrade should improve analytic performance in DATIM. After this upgrade is implemented, zeroes will be excluded from the analytics tools, such as the pivot tables. This significantly reduces the burden on analytics, and the analytics run time should see significant improvement. It is important to note that the zeroes are still in the system, they are just not displayed in the DATIM analytics tools. All zeroes will still be available to Panorama and other downstream tools.
- Data Changes:
Tanzania data change for COP18/FY19 Targets
- New COP19 regions and countries have been added to the organizational hierarchy in preparation for OU changes in FY2020
These new regions and countries were added so that FY20 target data from the COP19 process can be imported into DATIM. Please note that the addition of these new countries and regions will not impact FY19 data entry or cleaning for existing countries.
Later in 2019, DATIM will be updated to fully reflect the PEPFAR regional structure as described in COP19 guidance in anticipation of FY20 Q1 reporting. In the meantime, new regions and countries will be displayed separately on the DATIM OU hierarchy and will only be visible within DATIM to Global and Agency HQ users. No changes are being made to the hierarchies of existing countries and regions at this time. This means that until late 2019, Global and Agency HQ users will see both the current regional structure and an incomplete version of the future regional structure. But IP, In-OU Agency, and In-OU Interagency users will only see their existing hierarchy. Further detailed guidance on this transition will be circulated later in 2019.
Newly-added regions and countries:
- Asia Region
- Western Hemisphere Region
- West Africa Region
- Burkina Faso
- Sierra Leone
